Kurt Koester joined AgriSource in December of 1990.  Prior experience includes six years with the grain division of Countrymark Cooperative as a Grain Merchandiser.   His responsibilities included logistics, managing grain positions and originating purchases from farmers.  In 1987 he managed one of the largest ground pile operations in all of the eastern Corn Belt (seven million bushels) at the Logansport facility.   Kurt graduated from the University of Iowa Business School in 1984 with a degree in finance.  He was raised on a farm in north-central Iowa near Fort Dodge.  "AgriSource is like a good, hired hand.  There is trust and there is dependability.  They watch while you're away.  It's a partnership that adds value."
